Andrew Ankrah | |||
Washington Redskins | Defensive End | @@acquired | James Madison |
Strength: Andrew Ankrah was a dominant small school pass rusher. Andrew Ankrah has shown a knack for knocking balls loose. Andrew Ankrah is quick and agile. Andrew Ankrah is a good run tackler. Andrew Ankrah has flashed coverage potential.
Weakness: Andrew Ankrah hasn't played in space much.
Development: Andrew Ankrah is a pass rush specialist who has shown the athleticism to develop into more than that. However, he has not faced top competition or done much beyond playing defensive end. He will probably need to show his pass rush skills off early, that he can be a force on special teams, and his potential to develop his coverage skills in order to stick around long enough to get up to NFL speed and develop his technique at a whole new position, outside linebacker. He has a better than 50-50 chance of making a practice squad his first season.
Fantasy Football Rating: Sack and turnover machine.
Typecast Outlook Opinion: Dominant small school project with NFL size and athleticism.
