Robert Agnone | |||
Washington Redskins | TE | Rookie Free Agent | Delaware |
Strength: Robert Agnone is a big target who is willing to stretch out to catch a ball. Robert Agnone has above average speed and athleticism for a tight end.
Weakness: Robert Agnone wasn't featured as a receiver much outside of the red zone. Robert Agnone has a long way to go as a blocker in terms of strength and technique.
Development: Robert Agnone is another one of those athletic basketball players that has been turned into a tall tight end. At least in his case, he has plenty of experience as a football player as well. His blocking is nowhere near ready for NFL game action, but his receiving skills are an ideal fit for a pass-catching tight end in the West Coast offense. However, the Redskins have plenty of tight ends who can catch the ball already, making Robert Agnone a longshot for the roster at best. If he can impress the team with his receiving and show a willingness to block throughout training camp, he could be a practice squad candidate. The athleticism is there, but an opportunity is needed.
Fantasy Football Rating: The kind of tight end fantasy stats love, but not this year.
Typecast Outlook Opinion: Pass receiving tight end with prototype skillset.
