Rookie Free Agent
Strength: Doug Dutch is fast and athletic.
Weakness: Doug Dutch barely had an impact in the games he played in college. Doug Dutch was mostly a part-time special teams player in college.
Development: Doug Dutch is a guy who apparently shows up well in drills. The Redskins liked what they saw from him in spite of his lack of playing time and impact in college. He has very good size for a cornerback, which probably made him a little intriguing as a part-time safety. But, his special teams experience is the only thing that could get him on the field this season. He is unlikely to outplay either Tryon or Westbrook once the exhibition games start, which is what it would take for him to make the roster. A practice squad position isn't out of the question if he shows great progress over the course of training camp, much like Westbrook a few years ago.
Fantasy Football Rating: No impact for at least a few years, if ever.
Typecast Outlook Opinion: Athletic. Project player.
